“Snakes & Ladders” — Brooklyn, NYC (2022)
Snakes & Ladders is a sculptural reflection on legacy, seduction, and self-mythologizing.
The piece draws from biblical and folkloric symbolism—where snakes represent both danger and transformation, and ladders suggest ascension or downfall. The figure is adorned with a replica of my grandfather’s Order of Merit medal, tying personal ancestry to archetype and myth.
A meditation on beauty, vulnerability, and inherited power.
